Greetings from The Lancet and Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences (CAMS)!

It is our great pleasure to invite you to participate in a two-day event of The Lancet-CAMS Health Conference that will be hosted virtually by CAMS in collaboration with The Lancet on Nov. 10-11, 2021. This multidisciplinary event is aimed to serve as one of the first major research collaborations between The Lancet and China -- with the goals of strengthening the capacity of Chinese biomedical science, documenting the rapid progress and high-quality research of China’s health research community, and globalizing the reporting and influence of that science.

This year, the conference will focus on some of the most important health topics facing us today, such as COVID-19 and climate change. There will be six key topics covered in the conference and they are: Population Health and public health, COVID-19, The Lancet Commission on diagnostic, Climate Change and Health, Non-communicable diseases control, and demography and maternal and child health. We’ll invite top global experts and researchers to engage in collaborations and discussions to tackle the health challenges together.
